In 2015, the management and expansion of Girl Effect University (GEU) was transitioned from Nike Foundation to Mercy Corps and rebranded as GirlSPARKS, with a mission to ignite girl empowerment through skill-building, peer-learning, advocacy, relationship, knowledge, and synergy.
